Contemporary novelists Miranda Glover and Jennie Walmsley present a masterclass in the business of writing novels, from the original idea to the completed publication. Touching on everything from plot to pacing, they take their aspiring authors through the major stages of planning and writing a book. Everyone has a story in them; the challenge is to spin it into interesting fiction. Beginnings and endings provide further challenges as does the path to publication. Fast-paced and shot through with humour, this 90 minute session aims to leave you inspired, informed and confident to go away and get writing.
